Today, Jenny shares with us her favorite smoothie, perfect for revving that metabolism and slimming down for that bikini! This baby is tested, tried, and BALANCED BEAUTY APPROVED!!!
Blend with 1 cup of Water. I love to use Lemon water for an extra cleansing effect (made by slicing up lemons and putting in one pitcher of filtered water overnight). It also boosts the tropical taste with a subtle hint of lemon.
Why this is the perfect smoothie:
The grapefruit helps boosts our metabolism and is super cleansing. Research has found that even the scent of grapefruit can help us lose weight.
The lime is loaded with antioxidants and Vitamin C, helping reduce the effect of free radicals and inflammation. If you find you’ve gone off a cleanse or over did it, limes also also has a compound called limonin glucoside which attaches itself to sugar, and reduces its negative effect.
The Mango helps with digestion, also aiding in the slimdown process… And it tastes so tropical that it will make you envision being at the beach: Aka Bikini Motivation!!!
