Having a strong sex drive is a good indicator that you’re hormonally healthy! However, the opposite could mean a lot of bad things for your health…

For example, a low sex drive usually means low testosterone hormone, which is a very bad situation for both men and women. Even though testosterone is usually associated as male hormone, it’s just as important for the female sex drive. More testosterone means a higher sex drive and more fun with your significant other.

Male fertility may be affected by a low intake of Omega 3’s. This is because the lipid (fat) composition of the sperm’s cell membrane affects its ability to move, which is VITAL to successful fertilization. Interestingly, it has been shown that men with proven fertility have higher levels of Omega 3s in their blood and sperm than infertile men.

Infertile men also have a significantly higher ratio between their intake of Omega 6’s to Omega 3’s (another reason to LOWER your Omega 6 intake? I think so…)
